   Planning a garden is a very important aspect of survival, learning how to grow food - before you absolutely HAVE TO grow food is a good idea. it is also important to learn how best to support your garden, by creating an environment in which you garden can be healthy and best supported by beneficial insect. in an age of declining bee populations, this is all the more important.
   
   that is why it is important to also plant an insectary. and insectary is a place near your garden set aside to grow a variety of flowers to attract the kind of bugs to need, both to prey upon bugs that are a threat to your garden and to attract insects that will pollinate your garden. supporting nature to support ourselves.
